Who Uses uPerform
uPerform is primarily used by hospitals and health care networks, and it has two user types.
Content Specialists Considerations
- Lots of technical skill and understanding
- People rely on their accuracy and knowledge
- Need to create and manage a lot of content
End UserConsiderations
- No time between tasks and very busy
- Mistakes can mean life or death
- Processes and info can change rapidly
The Problem
Training and information dissemination in a healthcare setting is a daunting prospect to many hospitals and healthcare systems. uPerform is a software that allows content specialists to create group/role based training, process simulations, and learning pathways for healthcare specialists. However, it created time bottlenecks that prevented quick and efficient review cycles. It needed a technical overhaul, experience and UI modernization. uPerform stakeholders wanted to gain a deeper insight into how their users wanted to make content.
The Solution
uPerform now has a more modern, easy to use content creation tool. It meets user where they are and aligns with their content creation strategy. Through rigorous UX research, testing, and rapidly iterating designs, we addressed the bottleneck issue by providing improved preview modes and sharing functionality. I redesigned the content creation workflow by removing features that were not used and added new features to speed up task completion. This allowed our users to make content faster and get it reviewed sooner.
My Impact On The Product
In 2025 we released the early adopter versions of our newly redesigned content creator and end-user copilot tool, along with a host of other smaller improvements. By utilizing new design strategies, tools, and new ways of validating design feedback, uPerform became a modern and engaging tool for our users.

Because of these improvements, we increased bookings, strengthened partnerships with our clients, and exceeded our revenue goals for the year by 20%.

In 2026, uPerform was named best in KLAS for training and learning platforms.
